Introduction

The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating high-quality visual designs and marketing materials that align with brand guidelines and business objectives. The role involves developing artwork for packaging, point-of-sale (POS) material, digital media, print campaigns, retail displays, and promotional assets. Experience working with a major FMCG company such as Unilever is highly advantageous due to the strict adherence to brand standards and fast-paced campaign delivery.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Design artwork for print, digital, packaging, and retail marketing campaigns.
  • Develop point-of-sale (POS) materials, in-store displays, and promotional graphics.
  • Produce artwork that complies with corporate brand guidelines.
  • Prepare print-ready artwork and digital assets.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams, account managers, clients, and production teams.
  • Amend artwork based on client feedback and approval processes.
  • Ensure consistency across all marketing and branding materials.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Liaise with printers, suppliers, and production teams to ensure accurate execution.
  • Maintain organised design files and version control.
  • Stay current with design trends, software, and printing technologies.

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years' experience as a Graphic Designer.
  • Experience working with FMCG brands, retail campaigns, or agencies servicing clients is highly advantageous.
  • Proficiency in:
    • Adobe Illustrator
    • Adobe Photoshop
    • Adobe InDesign
    • Adobe Acrobat
  • Knowledge of print production and digital design.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating branding, packaging, and marketing work.
  • Excellent creativity and visual communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of branding and corporate identity.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
