At HSM, our success is built on our people. We foster a culture of teamwork, innovation, and shared success. If you’re looking for a meaningful place to grow and make an impact, we want to hear from you!

What You Will Do

As our Marketing & Brand Strategy Manager, you will lead and execute marketing communication initiatives that support business growth, customer engagement, product positioning, and brand visibility across multiple product categories and markets.

You’ll be a true player/coach — developing content, managing priorities, coordinating resources, and partnering closely with Sales, Engineering, Operations, Product Development, Quality, and Leadership teams.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and execute marketing communication strategies aligned with TSM’s business goals and growth priorities.
  • Create compelling product messaging, customer-facing content, value propositions, and application-based storytelling.
  • Translate technical manufacturing, engineering, and operational concepts into clear, customer-focused communications.
  • Support product launches, customer programs, trade shows, industry events, digital campaigns, and branded initiatives.
  • Build content across digital, print, video, presentation, social media, website, and sales enablement channels.
  • Lead digital marketing efforts, including social media communication, website optimization, SEO support, digital branding, and campaign analytics.
  • Develop case studies, brochures, customer presentations, executive presentations, trade show materials, and branded collateral.
  • Coordinate photography, video production, editing, and visual storytelling efforts.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to understand customer pain points, market opportunities, competitive positioning, and product value drivers.
  • Strengthen brand consistency, messaging standards, and communication processes across multiple facilities and business units.
  • Support customer-facing communication strategies within transportation, OEM, specialty manufacturing, engineered foam, and industrial markets.

What Makes This Role Exciting:

This is not a “sit behind the desk and manage brand standards” type of marketing role. This is a role for someone who wants to be close to the business, close to the product, and close to the people making things happen.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Shape the voice and market presence of a growing manufacturing division.
  • Tell meaningful stories about innovation, quality, customer partnerships, and operational capability.
  • Work directly with technical experts, commercial leaders, and business decision makers.
  • Build marketing strategies that connect directly to customer engagement and revenue growth.
  • Bring structure, creativity, and momentum to a fast-paced, evolving business environment.

What You Bring

We’re looking for a marketing professional who is strategic enough to see the big picture and hands-on enough to execute the details.

A strong candidate will bring:

  • 6–10+ years of progressive experience in marketing communications, brand strategy, digital marketing, content development, corporate communications, or related areas.
  • Experience in manufacturing, transportation, automotive, engineered products, industrial, B2B, bedding, or similarly technical business environments.
  • Strong storytelling, copywriting, editing, presentation development, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to turn complex technical or operational information into compelling customer-facing messaging.
  • Experience supporting product launches, customer programs, trade shows, digital campaigns, and branded communication initiatives.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing, social media, SEO, website content, analytics, and campaign performance tracking.
  • Experience with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, PowerPoint, WordPress, Wix, or comparable design/content platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, stakeholders, and shifting priorities.
  • Comfort working with both technical and commercial audiences, including engineers, operations leaders, sales teams, OEM representatives, and executives.
  • Prior leadership, supervisory, or marketing project ownership experience preferred.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, Public Relations, Graphic Design, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Experience

Experience in any of the following areas would be especially valuable:

  • OEM, Tier-1, transportation, specialty vehicle, automotive-adjacent, or advanced manufacturing environments.
  • Product marketing, customer segmentation, market positioning, or value proposition development.
  • Video production, photography coordination, content editing, or visual storytelling.
  • AI-assisted content creation or marketing productivity tools.
  • ISO 9001, IATF 16949, VDA, or customer-sensitive manufacturing environments.
