Creative Design & Paid Media Specialist

Deux Digital (Marketing Agency) | Fully remote, South Africa
Full-time employment | R32,000–R40,000 CTC per month, depending on experience

Deux Digital is a UK-based agency run from South Africa. We’re looking for a mid-to-senior designer, with a proficient knowledge in running meta and google ads.

Your core responsibility will be to create the advertising content that supports our clients’ paid advertising accounts and to assist with managing those accounts.

Strong creative ability is central to this role. You should have an excellent eye for design, a clear understanding of branding and the ability to turn a client’s brief into compelling visuals and messaging. From advertising creatives to pitch decks and reports, your work should look polished, communicate clearly and serve a strategic purpose.

Alongside those creative strengths, you’ll need practical experience with Meta Ads and Google Ads, including the confidence to set up, check, launch and manage campaigns.

We work with clients who expect a consistently high standard of work. We’re looking for someone who takes ownership, exercises sound judgement and delivers reliably without needing every step mapped out.

Duties & Responsibilities

Creative design and brand communication

  • Develop advertising concepts, visuals and messaging that suit each client’s brand, audience and campaign objectives.
  • Create campaign assets using Canva and other graphic design tools, adapting creative across placements and formats.
  • Design polished pitch decks, proposals, presentations and client-facing documents.
  • Turn campaign results and complex information into clear, visually engaging reports with useful insights.
  • Work confidently with typography, layout, visual hierarchy, imagery and brand guidelines.
  • Maintain a consistent brand identity across creative work, explaining your decisions and responding constructively to feedback.

 

Paid media management

  • Build, check, launch and manage campaigns across Meta Ads and Google Ads.
  • Take responsibility for campaign structure, targeting, budgets, ad setup and pre-launch checks.
  • Monitor performance, identify opportunities and make considered adjustments to improve results.
  • Use campaign insights to guide new creative concepts, messaging and testing.
  • Communicate campaign progress, results and recommendations clearly.

 

AI and digital tools

  • Use AI and other digital tools thoughtfully to support research, ideation, design and delivery.
  • Take responsibility for the accuracy, quality and brand suitability of all work, including AI-assisted content.
  • Explore useful ways to bring ideas to life through interactive presentations, prototypes or simple digital experiences where appropriate.

Required Experience

What we’re looking for

  • Four or more years of relevant experience in creative design-led marketing or a comparable agency role. The quality of your work and level of ownership matter more than an exact number.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating graphic design ability and brand understanding.
  • Practical experience working with both Meta Ads and Google Ads, including hands-on campaign setup and management.
  • Proficiency in Canva and other design or presentation tools, such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma or powerpoint.
  • Strong written English and the ability to turn a loosely defined brief or complex information into a clear narrative.
  • Excellent attention to detail and consistently high standards.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities, communicate progress and deliver reliably within a remote team.
  • A suitable home-working setup and reliable internet connection.

 

It would be an advantage if you also have

  • Experience developing brand packs, visual identities and brand guidelines.
  • Experience using AI tools to produce or refine advertising creative.
  • Technical knowledge of conversion tracking, enhanced conversions and account setup.
  • Experience creating landing pages, interactive presentations or AI-assisted prototypes.
