About the Role
We are looking for a creative, proactive, and highly organised Brand, Culture & Engagement Coordinator to join a newly forming department.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building something from the ground up rather than simply following an established process. You will play an important role in shaping employee engagement, culture, brand presence and relationship-building initiatives across the organisation.
This is not a traditional HR role. The position combines elements of brand, social media, internal communications, employee engagement, relationship management, project coordination and content review.
You will be expected to identify opportunities, bring ideas forward, take ownership of projects from beginning to end, build genuine relationships with employees and client facility contacts, and ensure initiatives are followed through and evaluated.
The ideal candidate is a natural self-starter who is creative, curious, approachable and organised, with the confidence to work independently in an environment where not every process has been established yet.
Job Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Identify gaps and opportunities within employee experience, brand and organisational culture, and proactively bring ideas forward.
- Own projects and initiatives from development and planning through to execution, follow-through and evaluation.
- Build and maintain genuine relationships with employees through proactive check-ins, engagement initiatives and retention efforts.
- Develop proactive relationships with client facility contacts and key stakeholders.
- Create, coordinate and support employee engagement initiatives, including recognition programmes, celebrations, appreciation events and internal campaigns.
- Support internal communications and ensure messaging is engaging, appropriate and aligned with the organisation's culture and brand.
- Review and audit public-facing content across social media, websites, marketing and PR channels for accuracy, tone and brand alignment.
- Identify opportunities to improve the way the organisation communicates with employees and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate projects, events and engagement activities while keeping timelines, actions and outcomes visible.
- Follow projects through to completion without requiring constant follow-up or supervision.
- Build simple systems, trackers and processes to keep projects and initiatives organised.
- Proactively identify problems and determine whether to resolve them independently or escalate them appropriately.
- Work collaboratively with employees, leadership, client facility contacts and internal teams.
- Bring creativity, warmth, and positive energy to culture-building and engagement initiatives.
