Senior Brand Manager to lead the strategic development, growth, and positioning of key brands within its portfolio. This role is ideal for a commercially driven marketing professional with extensive FMCG brand management experience who is passionate about building market-leading brands, driving innovation, and delivering integrated marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute long-term brand strategies aligned with business objectives and growth plans.
- Lead integrated marketing campaigns across ATL, BTL, Digital, PR, Social Media, and Experiential Marketing channels.
- Drive brand innovation by identifying market opportunities and leading new product development from concept to launch.
- Manage packaging development, product claims, and branding initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Own brand profitability, budgets, forecasting, pricing strategies, and return on investment.
- Oversee digital marketing strategies, social media platforms, influencer campaigns, and e-commerce initiatives.
- Analyse consumer insights, market trends, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities and strengthen brand performance.
- Commission and interpret market research to support strategic business decisions.
- Build strong relationships with Sales, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Legal, and external marketing agencies.
- Mentor and develop junior brand team members while fostering a high-performance marketing culture.
- Present brand performance, campaign results, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
- Lead Corporate Social Investment (CSI) initiatives that align with brand purpose and business objectives.
- Manage agency relationships and ensure creative execution aligns with brand standards.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Honours or postgraduate qualification will be advantageous.
- Minimum 7–12 years' Brand Management experience within an FMCG environment.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a Senior Brand Management or Leadership role.
- Proven experience managing successful brand strategies, marketing campaigns, and new product launches.
- Strong understanding of traditional and digital marketing.
- Experience managing brand budgets, profitability, and financial performance.
- Strong knowledge of consumer research methodologies and insight-driven marketing.
- Experience leading Corporate Social Investment (CSI) initiatives.
- Excellent stakeholder management, presentation, and project management skills.
