Through the InTent Internship Programme (#IIP), you will support digital communications, brand messaging, and campaign development for a start-up working to reduce single-use plastic waste in hospitality.
About the hosting organisation
Primal Soles is a Netherlands-based start-up developing a circular alternative to disposable hotel slippers. Its work focuses on replacing single-use plastic products in hospitality with recyclable materials and a recovery model designed to support circular procurement practices.
The Position
You will support the Marketing & Communications Intern project. The role focuses on improving website messaging, growing social media presence, creating campaign assets, and helping communicate the environmental value of circular hospitality
products. This is a strong opportunity for a student interested in sustainability communications and early-stage brand building.
What You Will Work On
- Support improvements to the company website, including messaging and structure
- Manage and grow social media presence through content planning, posting, and engagement
- Create marketing assets for campaigns and advertisements, including visuals, presentations, and one-pagers
- Produce content that communicates the environmental impact and story behind the company’s circular products
- Analyse customer and consumer behaviour to support branding and messaging improvements

Contribute to a small digital marketing campaign highlighting the impact of circular slippers
Requirements

You are interested in sustainability and impact-driven business, and you want to apply your marketing or communications skills in a start-up environment. You are comfortable creating content, thinking about brand positioning, and helping communicate a clear value proposition.

This is a paid internship offered through the InTent Internship Programme (#IIP).

The internship should start as soon as possible and no later than 15 August 2026.

The internship will run for three months.

The internship may be undertaken on either a full-time or part-time basis.

Applicants must already have the valid legal right to undertake this internship in the Netherlands for its full duration.

Visa sponsorship and support with obtaining a residence or work permit are not available for this position.
- The selected intern may also take part in the wider Programme journey, including the SEED Impact Summit on 24 September 2026.
