Introduction

Complement Recruitment are recruiting for a Marketing Coordinator Administrator for a permanent position in Kempton Park, Johannesburg, Gauteng. We are looking for a passionate Marketing Officer to plan and oversee the companies marketing activities and campaigns. You will be the one to ensure that all marketing administration operations are successful in meeting the goals set by management, working directly with the design and marketing teams.

Duties & Responsibilities

Duties:

 

  • Contribute and Create marketing, branding, campaigns, newsletters, social media implementation of marketing strategies
  • Support the business owners visualisation in executing the department’s operations
  • Organize marketing activities or events to raise brand and product awareness
  • Plan advertising and promotional campaigns for products or services on a variety of media (social, print etc.)
  • Liaise with stakeholders and vendors to promote success of activities and enhance the company’s presence
  • See all ventures through to completion and evaluate their success using various metrics
  • Prepare content for the publication of marketing material and oversee distribution
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities for promotion and growth and evaluate what works vs what doesn’t moving forward
  • Collaborate with managers in preparing budgets and monitoring expenses

Desired Experience & Qualification

Minimum Requirements:

 

  • Diploma or Degree in Marketing
  • Experience in a corporate marketing team
  • Proven experience as a marketing officer or similar role
  • Solid knowledge of marketing techniques and principles
  • Good understanding of market research techniques, statistical and data analysis methods
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office; Corel Draw; Adobe; Photoshop and marketing software (e.g. CRM)
  • Thorough understanding of social media and web analytics
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Creativity and commercial awareness
  • A team player with a customer-oriented approach
  • The goal is to ensure that the marketing efforts of the company add the highest value to its business.
  • Contributing in the creation and implementation of marketing strategies
  • Supporting and following the guidance of the director in overseeing and achieving marketing goals
  • Organizing and attending marketing activities or events to raise brand awareness

 

Skills And Knowledge:

 

  • Must have great enthusiasm for all things marketing related, great insight and knowledge of relevant techniques, trends and principles.
  • Excellent communicator and will have experience in managing different marketing ventures.
  • Able to work alongside sales teams in a technical engineering environment
