This role goes beyond corporate marketing; it is about lifestyle branding, community building, and managing the public narrative for an entire ecosystem

Duties & Responsibilities

As the Brand & Marketing Manager, you will step into a highly visible leadership role reporting directly to the CEO. You will hold the master keys to the precinct’s identity, engineering comprehensive multi-channel marketing, PR, and digital strategies. Your ultimate goal is to solidify us as South Africa’s premier innovation hub and property development space while driving tangible value for investors, residents, and commercial partners.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Actively shape and drive companywide strategic objectives as a core senior management team member.
  2. Develop and implement long-term brand and marketing strategies to position us as a premier mixed-use precinct and innovation hub.
  3. Elevate the brand and affiliated entities through unified messaging, place branding, and value-driven narratives that resonate with diverse audiences.
  4. Build and sustain strategic relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including media, partners, sponsors, and property owners.
  5. Spearhead a data-led approach to marketing—using analytics, feedback, and market insights to inform decision-making, improve ROI, and refine audience targeting.
  6. Lead the marketing team in creating integrated campaigns that blend content, digital platforms, events, and PR into a cohesive strategy.
  7. Oversee the design and delivery of flagship community events
  8. Identify and secure strategic sponsorships and partnerships that extend brand reach and align with precinct priorities.
  9. Lead the planning and delivery of special projects
  10. Guide the development and evolution of digital assets, including CRM, CMS, and social media, to ensure consistent messaging and audience engagement.
  11. Oversee the editorial direction and production of signature publications
  12. Ensure fiscal discipline by planning, managing, and reporting marketing and events budgets.
  13. Act as a brand custodian, ensuring consistency and integrity across all touchpoints and communications.


 

Desired Experience & Qualification

 

  • Education: A relevant Tertiary Qualification (Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma) in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or Business Strategy.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of dedicated strategic marketing experience, with a clear history of team management and multi-channel campaign oversight.
  • Proven written and verbal communications skill
  • Some experience in design
  • Demonstrated experience managing marketing budgets at a senior or corporate level.
  • Advanced practical proficiency with modern digital toolkits (e.g., Salesforce/HubSpot, Google Analytics 4, CMS platforms, Canva).
  • A proven track record operating within a precinct, major property development, commercial real estate, luxury tourism, or municipal management context, would be an advantage
