Position: Senior Manager -Employer Branding and Internal Communications

Reporting into: Head HRBP – Linear Content, Revenue, International Business & BONE | Head - DE&I

Business/Function:  Human Resources

Location: Mumbai (Work from Office)

 

Key Result Areas:

 

As the custodian of SPNI’s EVP – Tell Stories Beyond the Ordinary – this role is SPNI’s internal Change Management Office in action — a role that connects the dots between what the business is building and what employees believe, feel, and do, through storytelling, systems, and culture. As the change enabler for the organization, you will lead:

 

1. Employer Brand & Talent Magnetism

  • Craft and execute SPNI’s employer brand narrative aligned to business strategy and EVP: Tell Stories Beyond the Ordinary.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and business teams to drive inside-out storytelling for lateral and campus hiring, campus engagement and interns’ experience, crafting touchpoints that attract the right talent.
  • Shape the digital voice of SPNI on platforms like LinkedIn, Life Page, career site and social media.
  • Drive creative direction for content and collateral in collaboration with design/agency teams, ensuring brand consistency and high impact.

2. Employee Experience

  • Strategize and drive flagship internal moments — onboarding, anniversaries, townhalls, culture campaigns, newsletters, leadership transitions to humanize strategy, celebrate milestones, and promote SPNI’s EVP across employee lifecycle stages with strong communication and experience plans.
  • Partner with COEs (L&D, Performance, DEI, Onboarding, Admin, Legal, etc.) to co-create communication strategies and embed storytelling across lifecycle programs.

3. Listening & Intelligence

  • Run internal listening mechanisms like quarterly Pulse surveys, onboarding/exits, etc.
  • Track and respond to external sentiment via Glassdoor, LinkedIn, award juries, and industry perception.

4. Leadership & Employee Advocacy

  • Build advocacy platforms for employees to become brand advocates, designing storytelling formats and experiences that bring their journeys to life inside and outside the organization.

 

How Will You Be Measured? (Key Success Metrics)

 

  • Employer brand health (LinkedIn engagement, Glassdoor rating)
  • Employee engagement and sentiment (Pulse scores, qualitative sentiment, participation)
  • Quality of campaign execution (impact storytelling, timeliness, alignment with EVP)
  • Project success metrics (delivery of key launches, campaign reach, TA/HR impact)
  • Stakeholder alignment and experience (Leadership feedback, cross-functional collaboration)

 

 

 

Educational & Work Experiences / Key Requirements:

 

Education: Post Graduate / Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, human resources, or a related field.

 

Experience: 4-8 years

 

 

Critical Competencies/ Attributes: Professional/Technical

 

  • Content Craft & Campaign Thinking – Strong in narrative development, visual briefing, and campaign execution across touchpoints.
  • Stakeholder Management – Confidence working with senior leaders, COEs, and creative partners to translate strategy into execution.
  • Employee-Centric Design Thinking – Knows how to map moments in the employee lifecycle and shape comms to elevate them.
  • Brand & Business Acumen – Understands how employer brand sits at the intersection of talent, strategy, and company culture.
  • Project & Platform Agility – Skilled at handling multiple workstreams using tools like MS Office, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, or survey tools like MS Forms etc.
