POSITION SUMMARY:

The Brand Strategists oversees the company’s brand expression across digital platforms, visual media, video, photography, newsletters, website content, SEO presence, and innovation initiatives. This role ensures consistent messaging, storytelling, and visual identity across all markets while managing content development, digital media strategy, and new marketing technologies. The Brand Strategist serves as a cross-functional collaborator supporting internal teams, external vendors, and companywide communication initiatives.

 


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

Brand Strategy

  • Develop, steward, and continually refine the O-A-K brand identity across all branches to ensure consistency, clarity, and alignment with organizational strategy.
  • Establish and enforce brand standards across print, digital, and experiential channels.


Content Leadership

  • Lead storytelling initiatives that articulate O-A-K’s value propositions, project excellence, and community impact.
  • Oversee photography, videography, and visual asset production to ensure high-quality, on-brand content.
  • Facilitate cross-regional content planning meetings and supports annual content calendars that support strategic priorities, major milestones, and thought leadership initiatives.

Digital Media Management

  • Manage the organization’s digital presence, including social media channels, website, analytics, and search optimization.
  • Lead email newsletter planning, development, and distribution to all audiences. Develop email templates, workflows, reporting metrics, and communication processes.
  • Manage email audience lists and integration of CRM data to ensure accurate and timely outreach.
  • Develop and execute digital marketing plans that build market visibility, strengthen brand presence, and support employer branding.
  • Oversee social listening, engagement strategies, and message consistency across platforms. Monitor performance metrics and analytics to guide content decisions and optimize digital campaigns for reach, engagement, and lead generation.
  • Ensure regional teams follow digital best practices and brand guidelines.

Cross-Department Business Support

  • Provide marketing, communications, and content support for special projects.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador across the company, reinforcing consistency and quality in all outward-facing materials.

 

SUPERVISION RECEIVED


General Supervision. Functions independently within established objectives, policies, and procedures. Receives direction primarily on long-term goals, priorities, and strategic matters. Consults with leadership as needed on critical issues.

Informal Supervision. Provides day-to-day guidance, mentoring, or coordination to peers, project teams, or cross-functional groups without formal management authority.

 

 

EDUCATIONAL & EXPERIENCE  REQUIREMENTS


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in branding, digital media, or content creation.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, analytics tools, social platforms, and website CMS.
