The Role

The BRAND & PARTNERSHIPS LEAD will work closely with our Business Unit Head to drive brand consistency, internal and external communications, and marketing initiatives that strengthen the company’s reputation and support business growth. This role oversees brand strategy, campaigns, content execution, and partnerships in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

WorkAbroad (WA) is the leading job portal for aspiring Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs). For the past 20 years, we have been committed to improving accessibility to overseas jobs for Filipinos, with great prioritization of their safety - all jobs advertised on our site are approved by the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW, formerly POEA). SeamanJobsite (SJ) is a sub-brand of WorkAbroad that focuses solely on the sea-fairing workforce. Both WA and SJ are fully owned by SEEK.

Job Description

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Brand & Strategy
    • Lead and strengthen brand identity, messaging, and visual consistency across all channels.
    • Manage the end-to-end customer funnel: branding, awareness, conversion, and retention.
    • Drive go-to-market plans for new features and campaigns (digital, sales-driven, events, PR).
    • Create compelling brand stories, content direction, and executive-level presentations.
    • Ensure all brand initiatives align with business goals and user needs.

 

  • Partnerships (Government & Strategic Institutions)
    • Build and manage relationships with government agencies
    • Develop partnerships with industry associations, training centres, NGOs, and private sector groups
    • Lead co-branded programs, joint campaigns, and strategic activations that strengthen our OFW ecosystem
    • Serve as the brand’s representative in events and external engagements

 

  • Team Leadership & Collaboration
    • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members or cross-functional contributors handling on-ground events, creative content, or digital marketing tasks
    • Liaise with Sales, Customer Experience, and Web Development Team to ensure cohesive storytelling and aligned communications across departments

 

You’re a hands-on communicator and creative strategist who can move between high-level planning and day-to-day execution. You understand how to tell a compelling story that connects our brand, business, people- even with a lean or cross-functional setup.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or any related field
  • 5+ years of experience in brand, communications, marketing, or partnership roles
  • Strong background in project management and cross-functional collaboration
  • Proven ability to translate strategic goals into clear and engaging messages
