We’re looking for a new member for this pivotal role on our team - Coordinating the sales services for our customers, ensuring the smooth execution of our brand communication, with the support of the team. This role provides caring customer service, integrating our sales, promotion and communication calendar through all areas of customer touch points. Work with the branding and marketing team on quarterly merchandising objectives, provide support for customer and staff events, and ensure that strategic marketing processes are followed. This role will be an integral part of both our admin and marketing teams, working closely with the creative director and reporting directly to the administration manager.
Hours (varied locations - Vedder, Abbotsford, District)
- Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Typically 3 head office days, and one shift in each Vedder and Abby location

Duties are related to all connected aspects of sales for the Refinery House and affiliated brands.
General Duties:
- Review and provide direction for social media content
- Oversee the execution of the “promotion calendar”
- Have input and edit print & emails campaigns
- Oversee the implementation of changes to websites, general and shopify
- Manage client bookings and provide friendly, professional customer service
- Provides kind support for all customer service issues, ensuring feedback or confusion tickets are effectively addressed and documented
- A warm, friendly presence in the shops
Salon Coordination & Communication
- Responsible for merchandising with the Creative Director on a quarterly basis, helping make both product and display decisions
- Communicate clearly with the team via Basecamp and other channels on updates, promotions and issues
- Supports inventory management and sales reporting
- Participates in weekly admin, customer service and marketing team meetings, as well as strategic planning meetings as required with the marketing team
Salon Support & Maintenance
- Supports the administrative execution of software updates as related to service and product sales
- Creating social media or sales in relation to service promotions
- Provide administrative support services for all matters related to the ongoing operation of the shops, including running tickets, participating in ongoing cleaning duties, supporting the execution of services, and generally helping all operations operate efficiently.
Administrative & Technical Support
- Manage phones, email, direct messaging and assigned tasks
- Support retail sales and inventory management
- May be assigned duties related to SEO, Digital ad management and reporting
- Experience with software: G-suite, Mailchimp, Notion, Meta and Mangomint
Qualifications
- Formal education in the area of branding and marketing, or hospitality
- Experience managing social media
- Likes people and working with a team
- Customer service or hospitality experience
- Experience managing digital marketing strategies is an asset
- Examples of collaborative teamwork
- Event management, video and photography experience and asset
Salary:
- Starting at $25-30 (depending on experience)
