Description
As the Brand Lead for FRP and 1D Spherical Value segment, you will be responsible for the commercial success of your portfolio through developing the positioning, communication strategy and integrated campaigns for the Clariti & Biofinity brands of Contact lenses. You will be collaborating with cross functional teams including global marketing, regional marketing team, professional affairs, logistics to deliver innovative and impactful solutions that improve business outcomes.
You will deeply understand our experience and identify areas for expansion to own the development and execution of a strategic roadmap tied to the commercial development of JP market. The ideal candidate is a great coach, leader, collaborator and customer-centric culture carrier.
Responsibilities
Business Management
- Identify growth in drivers and category opportunities for new wearer acquisition, trading from hydrogel brands - for your Portfolio and work with Markets develop commercial programs against these opportunities.
- Input portfolio plans into APAC Long term strategic plans and annual business plans
- Constantly evaluate the effectiveness of marketing programs and adopt the marketing plans (regionally and within markets) against changing customer & consumer needs, market and competitive conditions.
- Input insights into the APAC S&OP Process for new wearer acquisition to Spherical portfolio including demand forecasting, country monthly outlook and supply chain stakeholder management.
Product Portfolio Management
- Develop holistic go-to-market programs to grow the Portfolio revenue and market share (Both B2B and B2C)
- Gather and prioritize customer feedback and data analysis to drive in market programs and value add service to enhance partnership with Key Account Partners and ECPs
- Work closely with global counterparts to establish an aligned positioning and messaging direction for APAC. Align and implement the strategies across markets in APAC
- Develop new product positioning, go-to-market strategy and launch toolkits to be scaled and implemented across APAC
Integrated Marketing Communications
- Analyze and synthesize the target audiences (both ECP and Consumer) needs, preferences and behaviors to develop appropriate messaging and program throughout the conversion journey
- Develop effective brand communication strategy against consumer/ customer needs and the competition
- Develop briefs and manage agencies to deliver integrated campaigns including B2B, B2C, Digital and PR playbooks for key brands. Align briefs, goals, objectives, KPIs for each initiative with APAC markets
- Adopt Global Campaigns for ECP and consumer to impact change towards desired behaviors throughout the consumer journey. Work with global team on alignment of positioning and claim development
- Develop playbooks for digital marketing advertising, promotion/contents/CRM for customers and consumer
- Manage budget, timelines, internal and external communication, compliance guidelines and approvals, cross functional partners to execute with excellence.
- Measure and report the results of the campaign both internally and externally.
Leadership
- Evaluate and control effective marketing spending, track and measure the effectiveness of marketing spending.
- Develop an effective relationship with Local Markets and Global Marketing Team to provide inputs with strategic knowledge of country market environment and customer needs as well as contribute to the team to develop and implement regional and global marketing plans.
- Participates in the annual development of regional objectives as set out in the long-range strategic plan.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration on assigned projects to deliver great work (interacting with and influencing team members from Marketing, Sales Operations, Sales Support, Sales Management, Finance, external agencies, etc.)
- Document and clearly communicate status of project work and prioritize / assign tasks as needed.
- Perform other duties related to marketing and/or product management as required.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Good interpersonal relationship and presentation skills. Organized and dynamic.
- Ability to collect, sort and create useable insights from data and adapt to fast-paced corporate environment.
- Precise verbal and written communication skills
- Accountable with acute attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple priorities, often with tight deadlines.
- Conducts self in a professional manner with coworkers, management, customers, and others.
- Bachelor’s Degree, MBA preferred.
- Lead generation & branding experience is preferred.
- Management experience of digital ad agencies and web developers.
- Consumer marketing, CRM management and Health care/ medical device industry experience preferred.

Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Marketing
- Experience coordinating and facilitates conferences, events and training would be good.
- Exposure to a U.S multi-national company would be an advantage
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or above
