We are searching for the best talent for Sr. Brand Manager - Astigmatism to be in Seoul.

Purpose: Since debuting the world’s first disposable soft contact lens in 1987, J&J Vision Care has been helping patients to see better through ACUVUE® soft contact lenses. Serving more than 60 million patients a day across 103 countries with its eye health portfolio, ACUVUE® is the worldwide leader and #1 contact lens category leader in Korea. 

Will be responsible for leading ACUVUE Contact Lens business in Korea focusing on Clear Portfolio. ACUVUE owns clear strength in the Clear portfolio vs. competition and strives to lead the category growth. Among different portfolio under Clear, Astigmatism is the key growth engine for the business and strategic priority for longer term win for ACUVUE Brand. Sr. Brand Manager for Astigmatism will lead comprehensive marketing strategy/plans to drive growth of Astig portfolio, targeting to serve both consumers and eye care professionals in providing advanced vision care solutions. This role is critical to drive overall Clear Lens category penetration and consumption, and is an expansive role to influence the entire portfolio strategy beyond marketing to touch upon GTM, innovation, and trades.

You will be responsible for:

  • Develop comprehensive marketing & commercial strategy/plans for both consumers and eye care professionals
  • Manage the planning & execution of annual marketing / commercial plans to drive penetration and consumption
  • Develop integrated local consumer communication (75%) and/or adaptation global campaigns (25%), including digital, social, PR, and in-store POSM
  • Design and implement integrated in-store activation strategy for optical stores in close partnership with all key cross-functional partners. 
  • Work with Digital / CRM & Data engineering team to run data-driven marketing and ensure to serve our consumers based on consumer journey
  • Oversee 3rd party agency relationships and work closely with them to strategically maximize their performance to drive consistent business results
  • Plan annual marketing budget to achieve the desired brand performance and monitor and control marketing budget to ensure compliance to company objectives and optimize spendings for effective utilization of the investments.
  • Be the POC for Astigmatism related discussions and projects within regional / global context

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degrees or above. 
  • 10 to 12 years’ experience in Brand Marketing with preferred category in FMCG, Health Functional Food, Cosmetics
  • Good knowledge of customer / B2B marketing is a plus (not a must)
  • Strong knowledge of digital & brand marketing and media management
  • Strong passion to win in a highly competitive market and to move projects ahead
  • Being a bold individual leader with high self-motivation to advance & progress
  • Analytical skills & marketing executional fundamentals
  • Strong knowledge in strategic marketing planning, branding and product messaging for consumers, shoppers and professionals
  • Fluent English and Korean skills in writing, verbal communication, and presentation
  • Being a good communicator/collaborator to work cross-functionally
