Description

The Sr. Manager Creative Services & Brand leads the development, governance, and execution of Zachry Group’s enterprise brand strategy.  This role drives the evolution of brand architecture, oversees creative direction across external communications, and ensures consistent application of brand standards across business units, corporate functions, and external channels.

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Market Insights, this leader guides a multidisciplinary creative team and collaborates closely with senior executives to translate business objectives into compelling brand narratives and high-impact creative campaigns.  The position oversees enterprise brand governance processes, evaluates brand performance, and champions a unified brand experience that strengthens Zachry’s reputation, value proposition, and market position.

Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Direct the evolution and governance of the corporate brand identity.
  • Translate business strategy into brand and creative initiatives.
  • Advise senior leadership on brand-related strategies.

Brand Governance

  • Maintain brand guidelines and assets for consistent application.
  • Integrate brand strategy across marketing, communications, HR, and business development.

Creative Execution

  • Lead the development and execution of creative campaigns across digital, print, video, and experiential formats.
  • Provide creative support for executive communications and employer branding.

Team Management

  • Leads a multidisciplinary team of designers, writers, and multimedia specialists.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate and engage with executive level leadership to ensure brand and creative alignment.
  • Facilitates creative and brand alignment across the enterprise.

Performance Measurement

  • Define and track KPIs for brand health and creative effectiveness.
  • Use performance data to refine strategies and improve engagement.

Qualifications

Required Technical Competencies

  • Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects)
  • Figma or Sketch
  • Project Management Tools like ClickUp, Asana, Trello, or Monday.com
  • Digital Asset Management Systems like Bynder, or Brandfolder
  • Content Management Systems like WordPress, or Sitecore
  • Experience with social media analytics dashboards
  • Analytics Platforms (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in brand management and creative leadership in B2B or industrial sectors.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic brand development and creative execution.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and project management capabilities.
  • Experience managing external agencies and creative budgets.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

What are the physical demands?

Employee will be required to communicate in person, via telephone, email, use of arm/hand steadiness, manual dexterity, finger dexterity, multi limb coordination, oral expression, and comprehension. May be required to lift, carry and move objects safely. Must possess a vision (corrected or uncorrected) that allows for clear visibility from a distance of 20 inches or less.

What will the work environment be like?

Work will be in a professional, “buttoned-up” corporate office environment operating and functioning at a fast pace.  Our corporate campus includes an on-site café with various daily breakfast, lunch and snack-time selections, a sizeable fitness center equipped with various state of the art workout equipment & weights, outdoor walking/jogging-path, herb garden, basketball half-court, sand-volleyball court, and soccer field. Working out of cubicles. Noise levels will be low to moderate, but mainly low with cube neighbors’ phone-calls, conversations and/or laughter.  You can expect people to treat you with respect and friendliness throughout the campus.
