As we continue to grow, we are investing in our brand, recruitment strategy, and digital presence.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Social Media Intern to support our brand, recruitment marketing, and internal engagement efforts. This is a hands-on opportunity to work directly with leadership on real campaigns that impact hiring, culture, and national brand growth.

  • Assist with content for referral campaigns, hiring initiatives, and career fairs
  • Write captions and messaging aligned with AAC’s brand voice
  • Design basic visuals using Canva or similar tools
  • Maintain and manage a content calendar
  • Track engagement metrics and report on performance
  • Monitor comments, messages, and engagement across platforms

What We’re Looking For

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or similar
  • Strong writing skills and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with social platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook)
  • Experience with Canva or similar tools preferred
  • Organized and able to manage deadlines
  • Creative thinker with an eye for engaging content
  • Interest in healthcare, recruiting, or brand-building is a plus

What You’ll Gain

  • Real-world experience working on national campaigns
  • Exposure to healthcare, recruitment, and marketing strategy
  • Mentorship from leadership
  • A portfolio of completed projects (content campaigns, branding work, etc.)

Program Details

  • 15–20 hours/week (flexible)
  • 10–12 week internship (potential to extend)
  • Unpaid internship (academic credit encouraged)
  • Weekly mentorship and feedback
