Our Client, a prominent national group, is seeking to employ an experienced and dynamic Social Media, Brand and PR Manager to their HO team based in Port Elizabeth.

Requirements:

  • A degree or diploma in Marketing or related field is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a senior marketing position.
  • Proven expertise in brand development, social media, content creation, digital marketing, executing integrated marketing campaigns and analyzing the data behind these campaigns is essential.

 

Responsibilities, but not limited to:

Social Media Strategy & Management

  • Develop and execute a cohesive social media strategy aligned with brand goals.
  • Manage daily social media activities across all platforms, ensuring consistent engagement and audience growth.
  • Monitor trends and emerging platforms to enhance digital presence.
  • Manage social media budgets.

Content Creation & Branding

  • Create compelling written, visual, and multimedia content for blogs, social media, and other digital platforms.
  • Design graphics and promotional materials that reinforce brand identity.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all communications, ensuring alignment with strategic direction.

Public Relations & Media Outreach

  • Build relationships with media outlets and influencers to enhance brand reputation.
  • Draft and distribute press releases, feature stories, and interviews to secure positive media coverage.
  • Identify opportunities for collaborations, sponsorships, and industry recognition.

SEO & Digital Growth

  • Generate and optimize content using SEO best practices to improve visibility and search engine rankings.
  • Analyse and refine strategies based on audience insights and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with web developers and marketing teams to enhance website content and discoverability.

Internal & External Communications

  • Ensure messaging consistency in all external communications, including press releases and social media.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align marketing and communication strategies.
  • Manage crisis communication and reputation management when necessary.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media and PR initiatives.
  • Prepare regular reports with insights, recommendations, and data-driven strategies for improvement.
  • Adjust strategies based on analytics to maximize audience engagement and brand awareness.
