The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority welcomes exceptional talent with a passion to realise the vision and mission of making the West Kowloon Cultural District a prime local and international destination for arts, culture and entertainment.

Reporting to the Head, Marketing and Branding (M+), you will be responsible for:

  • Strategy Development: Formulating and implementing integrated marketing plans to illustrate the vision and core values of M+ at WestK, driving branding, visitation, and customer experience to keep the M+ brand relevant and  refreshed to expand international & local reach.
  • Campaign Management: Promoting exhibitions, curatorial programmes, and activities through integrated marketing campaigns across online, print, outdoor, KOLs, and social media platforms.  
  • Content Production: Planning and producing a wide range of creative content and promotional materials such as photos, videos, print matters, outdoor displays, social media posts, and marketing blurbs to showcase the unique features of each exhibition, commission projects, and programmes.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Communicating with internal stakeholders (Curatorial, Exhibition, Museum Operations, Development teams) and external partners (sponsors, business partners, producers, agencies, production houses) on a daily basis to achieve set outcomes.
  • Performance Marketing: Monitoring budgets, preparing marketing reports, and adjusting marketing strategies to fulfil visitation targets, impression metrics, and other KPIs.
  • Trend Analysis: Identifying the latest marketing trends and competitive practices in order to optimise marketing efforts based on data and insights.
  • Performing any duties from time to time as reasonably as assigned by M+.

You should:

  • Possess a recognised university degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Creative Media, Cultural Studies, or related disciplines .
  • Have at least 8 years of marketing experience, preferably in commercial corporates, creative agencies, brand consultancy or related fields.
  • Have professional knowledge of and practical experience with online and offline marketing, including digital marketing, social media, advertising, and print. Proven experience in Mainland China digital marketing will be an advantage .
  • Be a strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and excellent analytical skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving capability .
  • Be able to multi-task and work under pressure in a very dynamic and fast-paced environment .
  • Have strong interpersonal skills to communicate with internal and external parties at all levels and build rapport with team members and stakeholders .
  • Be detail-oriented with good time management skills.
  • Have excellent language and presentation skills in written and spoken English and Cantonese. Putonghua will be an advantage.
