Job Description:
The Manager, International Partnerships & Brand Activation oversees UPS’s international sponsorship properties, serving as the primary owner
of key assets and partner relationships. This role manages contractual assets across branding, intellectual property,
hospitality, events, and talent access while developing integrated activation strategies that drive brand visibility and business
impact. Working across regions, functions, and agency teams, the manager ensures flawless execution, oversees budgets,
measurement, and delivers programs that produce measurable results.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary day-to-day lead for international sponsorship partners with multi-year agreements
• Lead UPS’s international partnership properties, managing contractual assets including branding, IP rights,
activations, hospitality, events, and talent access
• Develop and execute integrated activation plans across paid, owned, and earned channels
• Shape seasonal strategies and activation roadmaps that increase brand presence and commercial impact
• Direct cross-functional collaboration among regional teams, internal stakeholders, partners, and agencies to
deliver seamless programs
• Support the evaluation and development of new opportunities to expand the portfolio and drive business results
• Manage budgets, allocate resources effectively, and monitor performance against key goals
• Translate results into clear reporting, insights, and recommendations
• Present strategic insights and performance results to senior leadership
Preferred Competencies:
• Experience in sponsorships, sports and entertainment marketing, or integrated marketing
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional workstreams
• Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and performance measurement
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working with international teams, external partners, and agency collaborators
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and influence across teams
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in sponsorships, sports and entertainment marketing, or a related field
• Demonstrated strength in communication, stakeholder management, and prioritization of multiple initiatives
• Experience working within enterprise-level or matrixed organizations, preferred
• Experience partnering with or managing agency teams, preferred
• Must be currently in the same geographic location as the job or willing to self-relocate
• Understanding of measurement, reporting, and analytics
• Bachelor's Degree (or internationally comparable degree) Sports Marketing, Communications or a related field, preferred
