Job Overview

The Lead Brand Marcomm role at Reliance Retail is a senior, full-time position based in Navi Mumbai. This opportunity focuses on leading brand marketing and communications strategies for Premium Grocery segments, supporting brand growth, store launches, and retail campaigns within a fast-growing and dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Extensive experience in premium grocery marketing with proven expertise in creating aspirational brand communication strategies for upscale segments (Mandatory skill).
  • Strong background in marketing communication, including campaign planning, message development, and multi-channel execution for diverse consumer touchpoints.
  • Demonstrated leadership as a brand leader, with the ability to drive vision, inspire teams, and foster cross-functional collaboration for brand success.
  • Expertise in brand positioning, developing distinct brand identities and narratives that differentiate and elevate perception in a competitive marketplace.
  • Experience in planning and executing new store opening initiatives, including local market activation, launch events, and integrated promotion.
  • In-depth understanding of retail marketing trends and consumer behavior, enabling development of relevant and effective marketing activities.
  • Ability to analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and consumer insights to adapt and refine branding and communication initiatives.
  • Excellent project management, interpersonal, and communication skills, with attention to detail and a results-oriented approach.
  • Strategic problem-solving skills to address brand challenges, optimize budgets, and measure campaign outcomes effectively.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design, lead, and oversee all brand marketing and communication strategies for Premium Grocery segments, driving aspirational brand messaging.
  • Develop and implement integrated multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital, print, in-store, and social media platforms.
  • Lead planning, execution, and promotion of new store openings, ensuring cohesive brand experiences that maximize impact in local markets.
  • Manage brand positioning efforts, working with design, merchandising, and store teams to ensure a consistent and compelling brand presence.
  • Collaborate with merchandising, operations, and digital teams to align brand strategy with business objectives and customer journeys.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, consumer insights, and market dynamics to enhance brand communication effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with agency partners, vendors, and influencers to elevate marketing initiatives and foster brand advocacy.
  • Champion brand standards and compliance across internal and external communication, ensuring alignment with corporate vision and values.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering talent development and high performance within the brand marcomm team.
