POSITION SUMMARY
The Employer Brand Designer & Content Strategist is responsible for developing and executing creative strategies that bring the organization’s Employer Value Proposition (EVP) to life through compelling visual design, storytelling, and content creation. This senior level role combines expertise in branding, design, and communications to enhance the organization’s reputation as an employer of choice and to strengthen engagement with both external talent and internal colleagues.
This senior level position requires a self-motivated and resourceful creative professional who can balance strategy with execution, translate complex concepts into engaging content, and maintain brand integrity across all touchpoints.
As a member of the Talent Attraction & People Experience team, the Employer Brand Designer & Content Strategist leads the design and delivery of visual and written content across digital and print channels, ensuring consistency with corporate brand standards and alignment with organizational values. This position collaborates closely with Talent Acquisition, Marketing, and Leadership stakeholders to create cohesive campaigns, promotional materials, and internal communications that reflect the organization’s culture, mission, and strategic priorities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
External-Facing Work (Approx. 50%)
- Design visual content for job postings, recruiting events, and employer brand campaigns across social media, career site pages, email campaigns, and more.
- Create multimedia assets that highlight our culture, values, and work environment to attract top talent.
- Develop promotional materials that support recruitment initiatives and showcase organizational achievements.
- Collaborate with recruitment marketing and employer brand teams to ensure all external content reflects our EVP and brand identity.
Internal-Facing Work (Approx. 30%)
- Develop creative assets (e.g., screensavers and other visual materials) to support Sound’s key initiatives and campaigns.
- Design Sound-branded templates and editable PDF documents for use by internal departments and the Internal Communications team.
- Create Sound-branded image assets for the Vitals intranet and other internal platforms.
- Design graphics for internal newsletters and digital communications (primarily in Canva).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure visual consistency across all internal channels and materials.
Employer Branding & EVP Communication (Approx. 20%)
- Partner with Talent, Marketing, and Leadership teams to align content with our EVP and brand guidelines.
- Help organize and manage content assets to ensure accessibility and consistency.
- Maintain brand integrity across all internal and external touchpoints through thoughtful design and messaging.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a content calendar and asset management system.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Strong visual design skills with proficiency in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience creating and editing video content.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Experience in healthcare highly preferred.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Wrike.
- Ability to craft compelling content for both external (candidates) and internal (employees) audiences.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across departments and with multiple stakeholders.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum experience: 6-7 years of relevant experience required
- Preferred: 8-10+ years of experience in content marketing or recruitment marketing
SALARY RANGE: This position offers an annual salary range of $85,000-$95,000. Exact salary will depend on the candidate’s experience, education and geographic location.
