ABOUT YOU 

In this role you will ensure that inbound customer enquiries (via phone and email) are answered promptly and effectively. You will also support the C&P marketing team on branding requirements for social media, webpages and other event marketing campaigns.

Required skills and experience:

  • General customer service background – experience in a contact/call centre previously is essential
  • Knowledge and application of appropriate systems and procedures relevant to client interfacing – experience of using a CRM in a previous role is desirable
  • Numeracy; calculating/tabulating results
  • Digital marketing experience a plus – not a requirement and will be training provided
  • Communication: written, spoken, liaising, e.g. accurate recording of data to quality procedures and good telephone matter
  • IT: spreadsheets, graphic display for data retrieval
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of Sales, Marketing and Business Development processes and activities

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY 

As a central enquires & brand assistant, you will provide support to each of the business lines for directing inbound enquiries to the correct facility. Also, you will ensure that all enquiries are entered and maintained correctly in the company’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, assisting with communications between clients and Intertek business lines

Key activities:

  • Providing an initial point of contact for new telephone and e-mail enquiries

  • Using the Company’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, track and coordinate customer communication
  • To ensure that all enquiries are received and acted upon in a timely fashion, the enquiries desk is to be manned from 9:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday
  • To ensure that all enquiries are responded to within 24 hours of receipt, with a holding e-mail sent at the earliest opportunity
  • Developing branding skills through Adobe software, including InDesign and training provided by the marketing team (both informally and formally) to support the commercial marketing campaigns
