Business Overview:

Do you feel ready to embrace a crucial role that blends creativity with long-term strategy? At Fidelity Investments Canada ULC, we are searching for a Brand Merchandising Manager who will raise our branded merchandise and premiums program to an outstanding level. This role has a unique opportunity to impact our brand presence through innovative merchandise solutions that resonate with our clients and internal teams. This includes managing the Company Store, fulfilling ad hoc requests from Sales, Advertising, and other business partners, and ensuring merchandise is delivered accurately, efficiently, and within budget.

In the role, they will streamline intake, fulfillment, and reporting processes, including building and maintaining a centralized platform to manage requests. The Brand Merchandising Manager partners with internal teams to anticipate needs, coordinates with external vendors to maintain service standards, and implements operational controls to ensure compliance, quality, and cost.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program Management: Continuously source new, trendy, and delightful merchandise for Fidelity’s corporate gifting program. Forecast out 6 to 12 months to accommodate procurement cycles for key seasonal gifts such as Holiday or Golf season. Support product launches and internal Employee promotional giveaways
  • Merchandise Planning: Ongoing inventory control and stocking of “always on” gift and premiums such as golf merchandise, stationary, tumblers, etc.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with Sales teams to meet their needs. Promote the Company Store and new items through communication plans. Chair a sales committee for feedback and service improvements.
  • Vendor Management: Oversee vendor relationships, service standards, and scorecards. Collaborate with Procurement on contracts and Statements of Work.
  • Brand Compliance: Ensure all merchandise and packaging align with Fidelity Canada’s brand standards. Manage artwork approvals and maintain consistency across suppliers.
  • Ensure brand governance and compliance across all merchandise: Partner with the Design team to ensure all merchandise, packaging, and promotional materials reflect Fidelity Canada’s brand standards and visual identity. Maintain a clear approval process for artwork and vendor proofs, and document specifications to ensure consistency across suppliers and product categories.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Innovative, collaborative, and detail-oriented approach.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Creative and organizational strengths.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of merchandising trends

Experience & Education

  • 3+ years in merchandise planning, procurement, or e-commerce.
  • Experience managing complex budgets.
  • College degree (3-year program) in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
