Position Summary
The Brand Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing, executing, and protecting the brand across the channel, via BlueStar. This role ensures consistent brand messaging, visual identity, and positioning while driving awareness, engagement, and preference with resellers and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, with a strong understanding of channel marketing and partner-driven ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Execution
- Support the implementation of the brand strategy across all marketing touchpoints
- Maintain brand guidelines, messaging frameworks, and visual standards across internal and external materials
- Maintain brand alignment across the channel
Campaigns & Program Support
- Assist with brand-led and partner marketing campaigns, including timelines, asset coordination, and execution
- Create go-to-market initiatives by coordinating messaging and deliverables across teams
- Support trade shows, events, sponsorships, and experiential marketing initiatives
Content & Creative Oversight
- Coordinate development of marketing collateral such as presentations, digital assets, sales enablement tools, and event materials
- Partner with internal creative teams to manage revisions, approvals and delivery on high-quality, on-brand assets
- Proof and review content for brand accuracy and consistency
- Ensure storytelling reflects BlueStar's value proposition
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with sales, the vendor/brand, BDMs and other internal and external departments to ensure brand alignment
- Act as a key marketing contact for internal and external partners seeking brand guidance or support
- Support internal communications and BlueStar branding initiatives as needed
Project Performance & Optimization
- Track and analyze brand performance metrics (awareness, engagement, campaign impact) for ROI
- Use insights to refine messaging, positioning, and execution
- Manage timelines, budgets, and priorities across multiple initiatives
Qualifications
- Degree or like years of experience in brand marketing, preferably in B2B, technology, or distribution environments, preferred.
- Strong understanding of channel marketing and partner ecosystems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities
- Experience working with creative teams, partners, and cross-functional stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strategic thinker with a roll-up-your-sleeves execution mindset
Preferred Experience
- Experience in technology, POS, auto-ID, or related industries
- Familiarity with trade shows, sponsorships, and experiential marketing
- Experience supporting sales enablement and partner marketing programs
