Summary Description: The Brand Identity Designer is responsible for defining, maintaining, and executing the organization’s visual identity across all channels. This role ensures consistent application of brand guidelines while managing and delivering visual identity projects that support the organization’s ongoing commitment to its goals. The Brand Identity Designer will develop a wide range of marketing collateral and materials—including corporate literature, presentations, event materials, program logos, social media graphics, email templates, digital ads, and more—for both internal and external audiences.
Academic and Trade Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience from which comparable skills can be acquired
Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in graphic design strongly preferred
Responsibilities:
- Brand Identity: You will be instrumental in defining and executing the visual identity across all platforms, ensuring a cohesive and impactful brand presence.
- Asset Creation: Create a wide range of marketing collateral and materials in collaboration with project owners and stakeholders from across the organization including: corporate literature, presentations, event materials, program logos, social media graphics, email templates, digital ads and more. Designs for both internal and external audiences
- Collaboration: Work closely with communication and marketing teams to maintain proper corporate messaging.
- Strategy: Work with Director of brand strategy to translate brand strategy and business objectives into compelling visual designs.
- Quality Control: Ensure all materials across the organization adheres to the brand guidelines
Job Knowledge:
- Thorough understanding of graphic design theories, principles and techniques as applied in visual communication.
- Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Word).
Abilities and Skills:
- A creative designer with a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and brand alignment.
- Ability to collaborate across the organization with stakeholders from a wide range of departments and disciplines to understand business objectives and translate them into effective creative solutions.
- Ability to balance creativity with strategic thinking and business goals.
- Strong communication and project management skills.

Relationships and Contacts:
- Internal contacts: Works as a team brand strategy staff; assist with other corporate departments requiring branding, graphic design and presentation work.
- External contacts: Works with agencies, printers and other vendors as needed.
