About the role
This role owns and scales the brand’s verbal identity across the organization.
It is responsible for ensuring that all communication, internal and external, is clear, consistent, and aligned with brand principles. The role serves as the steward of the brand voice and works across teams to align communication with brand guidelines and raise its quality at scale.
The focus is not on producing all content directly, but on setting standards, providing direction, reviewing critical work, and enabling others to communicate effectively within the brand system. This includes product and go-to-market efforts, recruiting, investor communications, and merchandise.
The role requires a native US English speaker with strong editorial judgment, comfort working with complex topics, and the ability to lead through influence.

In this role, you will lead language and narrative at scale, shaping brand implementation across the organization, contributing to go-to-market strategy, and transforming how people understand modern customer service.

What you'll do:

    • Own the company’s brand voice, tone, and verbal guidelines. Develop communication frameworks for brand-critical and customer-facing content, including: marketing and GTM materials, product copy, corporate and investor communications, HR, recruiting, and employer-brand content.
    • Create processes and tools that operationalize the brand at scale, enabling teams to apply brand principles consistently and efficiently.
    • Review and provide feedback on high-impact communication assets across the organization, and personally craft or refine the most critical pieces when needed.
    • Partner closely with writers, marketers, product teams, HR, and leadership to: improve clarity and quality of content, ensure consistency across teams and channels, help others do their best work within brand guidelines
    • Act as a single point of accountability for brand language and narrative. 
    • Identify gaps or risks in how the brand is expressed and proactively address them

Who you are:

    • You have a strong content writing background, with experience leading brand, communications, editorial, or narrative work.
    • Highly independent and comfortable taking full ownership of a broad, cross-functional area.
    • Able to operate across many contexts and priorities without losing clarity or quality
    • Confident leading through influence, judgment, and collaboration.
    • Detail-oriented, with a strong sense of what “good” looks like, and how to get there at scale.
This role sits within the Brand Team, which is responsible for creating and implementing the brand strategy and ensuring consistent implementation across the organization. The team acts as both strategic owner and quality gatekeeper, with a strong focus on go-to-market work.
