We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Brand Manager who will be responsible for conducting market research, consumer research and specific category research for various ongoing branding & product development projects. The Assistant Brand Manager will also provide support to other Branding and Marketing Research projects as required from time to time.
Responsibilities
- Conduct primary consumer research including detailed consumer interactions, focus group discussions and data collection through other research methodologies like surveys with existing and potential consumers.
- Support the development of brand communication materials including packaging, advertising, and promotions basis insights from consumer research.
- Assist in the development and execution of brand strategies to increase brand awareness, drive brand loyalty, and support overall business objectives.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the global Beauty & Personal care industry with an emphasis on the US geography.
- Analyse data and prepare reports on market trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape.
- Develop insights to identify white spaces in the market to launch new products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development and creative teams to ensure brand consistency across all channels.
- Assist in the planning and execution of brand events and activations.
- Monitor and report on the performance of brand initiatives and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and innovations in the personal care and wellness industry.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in marketing, business, commerce or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in brand management, marketing, or a related field.
- Experience conducting primary consumer research and analysing market data.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and develop insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with market research tools.
