Job Description

Job Title: Principal Analyst- Communications & Branding

Location: Bangalore

Reporting to: Senior Manager, Communications & Branding

Purpose of the role

As a key member of the Employer Branding and Internal Communications (EBIC) team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping AB InBev’s image, culture, and reputation—both internally and externally. Your mission is to help position AB InBev as an employer of choice, foster a positive workplace culture, and ensure consistent, engaging communication across all channels. You will drive the execution of our PR strategy, craft impactful messaging for internal and external communications, and manage internal and external events - all while helping us attract, engage, and retain top talent. Overall, your role in the team will be critical in helping us build a strong employer brand and engage our employees in meaningful ways.

2. Key tasks & accountabilities

PR

  • Coordinate PR Initiatives: Work closely with the Senior Manager, EBIC, and People Director to manage the PR mandate, including agency collaboration, leader speakerships, media features, and event participation.
  • Media Monitoring: Track media coverage and industry trends to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Align PR efforts with business goals by partnering with internal teams and leaders.
  • Crisis Communication: Provide clear, effective recommendations during crisis or emergency situations.
  • Brand Inquiries: Effectively manage external branding inquiries from employees and leaders and coordinate responses with leadership and the external agency
  • Best Practices: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in communications and branding.

Internal Communications & Branding

  • Content Creation
    • Develop compelling communications, including but not limited to, mailers, social media posts, talent branding messaging, KPI reports, PR articles, and more.
    • Work with the Internal Communications and Employer Branding leads to ensure timely and consistent delivery of email, social media, and talent branding campaigns to attract and retain top talent.
    • Work with designers and other members of the communications team to develop multimedia content such as email designs, graphics, and/or videos.
    • Ensure that all content is aligned with our organization's tone, style, and branding guidelines.
    • Track and report on the effectiveness of internal communications content and making recommendations for improvement.
    • Develop new ways to communicate key messages and boost employee engagement, aligned with our culture, values and EVP.
    • Collaborate with the broader People team to effectively develop and deliver employer branding messages that resonate with employees and support business objectives.

  • Event Management:
    • Work with internal teams to create a culture of ownership with employees to take on and deliver initiatives.
    • Support in planning, organizing, and executing key employee events and engagement activities throughout the year.

3. Qualifications, Experience, Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in any discipline
    • A degree in Journalism or Mass Communications, Branding, or a qualification in HR is an advantage.
  • 3+ years of work experience in HR, employer branding, communications, and/or PR
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills with the ability to craft ideas and plans to help programs succeed.
  • Experience using design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
  • Experience organizing large-scale team events, working with internal & external teams to deliver a great employee experience are preferred
