Asia Football Group (AFG) is the exclusive commercial agency for the Asian Football Confederation’s (AFC) competitions from 2023-2028. Our partnership with the AFC covers the commercial rights for all major AFC National Team and Club competitions, including the AFC Asian Cup, AFC Asian Qualifiers, AFC Women’s Asian Cup, AFC Women’s Olympic Qualifiers, AFC Champions League, AFC Cup as well as AFC youth and futsal competitions.

The Role

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive intern to support Brand Project Management team in coordinating and executing brand development and implementation projects for AFC competitions. This role is ideal for someone interested in project management within the sports and/or branding.



Key Responsibilities


  1. Project Coordination & Tracking

    • Assist in maintaining detailed project timelines, task trackers, and status updates for multiple brand initiatives for AFC competitions.
    • Support the Senior Manager in monitoring and maintaining project milestones and timelines, deliverables, and dependencies to ensure timely execution across multiple major projects for both National Team + Club Competitions, especially with the upcoming Women’s Asia Cup 2026 and Asian Cup 2027. Taking over weekly report summaries to ensure team is updated on key deadlines.
    • Help support Senior Manager to prepare project documentation including meeting notes, action item lists, and progress reports.

  2. Stakeholder Communication

    • Coordinate with internal departments (signage, marketing, etc) to gather inputs and follow up on deliverables. If intern is based in Dubai, provide senior manager that direct on-ground access for immediate communication with cross functionals based in Dubai.

  3. Asset & Documentation Management

    • Support the organization and version control of brand assets, guidelines, and creative files. Help Senior Manager to ensure sharepoint folders are updated with the most recent documents.

  4. Brand Approval Reviews

    • Supporting Senior Manager in assisting in reviewing decks and assets for approval as per brand specific guidelines. Keen attention to detail required.
    • Assist in compiling post-project evaluations and lessons learned to improve future processes.

 

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • Able to commit to a full-time Internship for six months
  • Applicant preferred to obtain diploma/degree
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain organisation in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient user of all Microsoft applications
  • Flexible, enthusiastic and motivated
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, stay organised, and work both independently and within a team
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English; proficiency in other Asian languages is a plus
