GENERAL SUMMARY

The Content Creator, Brand Creative, is responsible for developing compelling content that elevates the brand, engages audiences, and supports brand and business goals. This individual will create and produce content for print, digital, copy, supporting social media content for Preferred Travel magazine and website, and more—all with an eye for storytelling, brand voice, and detail while upholding the tone, aesthetic, and standards of Preferred Travel Group.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP

Under the general supervision of the Creative Director, Brand Creative, the Content Creator will generate original content ideas, write and edit copy, and shape creative concepts that align with brand strategy and global campaigns.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    Craft compelling travel stories, features, and content series, providing a strong design aesthetic and understanding of PTG’s brands. 

    Contributing role in conceptual and strategic goals of the department. 

    Write high-quality copy for magazine, web, email campaigns, blogs, social media, and other publications with a consistent brand voice.

    Develop and execute creative content concepts that align with seasonal, campaign, and editorial calendars 

    Collaborate with copy and design teams to pair strong visuals and storytelling across platforms 

    Develop PowerPoint templates and presentations.

    Produce content that inspires aspirational travel while driving measurable engagement 

    Maintain and uphold brand tone and messaging guidelines across all outputs

    Stay current on trends in luxury travel, digital content, and global hospitality marketing

    Utilize performance data and analytics to inform content strategy and optimize future content for engagement and effectiveness.

    Comfortably balance multiple projects, large and small (including production), in a fast-paced environment to meet the needs of the department.

QUALIFICATIONS

Worker characteristics are normally acquired through:

    2-4 years of professional working experience in content creation, editorial, or brand storytelling, ideally within the luxury, travel, or hospitality sector. 

    Bachelor's Degree – BS/BA/BFA – or equivalent from a four-year college (Journalism, Communications, Graphic or Communication Design preferred).

    Strong design skills: layout, type, photography, graphic elements.

    Strong creative skills: ability to conceive and create effective visuals.

    Experience using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Instagram Insights, etc.) to track content performance and make data-informed decisions.

    Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, CMS platforms, and social media scheduling software 

    Strong attention to detail

    Familiarity with travel media, luxury lifestyle content, or hotel branding a plus

    Strong organization and production skills.

    Ability to work on various projects simultaneously, establishing appropriate priorities and work procedures.

    Strong communication skills and ability to work with people of diverse/multidisciplinary backgrounds.

WORKING CONDITIONS

This is a hybrid in-office/remote work environment. To foster meaningful interactions across all departments, Associates who work within commuting distance of a corporate office are expected to spend up to 40% of their available work time in the office, choosing from our “collaboration days” – Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday – and should be available Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM on all office communication channels when they are working remotely.

SALARY

$20.00-25.00 per hour; actual compensation within this range will be determined by multiple factors including candidate location, experience and expertise.
