Brand Strategy & Management

As the Brand Manager, you will be responsible for shaping and activating our brand presence across all channels in collaboration with the Marketing Director. You will lead omni-channel strategies, adapt global campaigns to local markets, and collaborate cross-functionally to drive revenue, market share, and brand love. This role is expected to ensure alignment with global marketing objectives to increase sales, grow market share, and improve profitability while also identifying and validating opportunities to achieve growth targets in the Canadian market. A high degree of project management skills and attention to detail are required.

 

You will also lead a talented team including an Assistant Trade Brand Manager and Assistant Retail Brand Manager, to execute standout campaigns that meet strategic goals and elevate the brand across every touchpoint.

 

This position reports into the Marketing Director but is cross-functional, collaborating with education, sales, operations, flagship, and e-commerce teams.

 

What You’ll Do

Strategy and Planning

  • Partner with the Marketing Director to define and execute the annual brand strategy and marketing plan
  • Develop and lead integrated 360° campaigns across all touchpoints, ensuring brand consistency and local relevance
  • Lead product launch strategies from positioning to go-to-market execution, with a focus on innovation
  • Translate global toolkits into localized campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and conversion

 

Execution and Project Management

  • Own and update the Canadian marketing calendar while ensuring seamless campaign planning and rollout across channels
  • Manage all campaign development steps: timelines, asset briefs, stakeholder reviews, and post-launch performance
  • Forecast and oversee inventory of innovation, samples, collateral, and promotional tools
  • Ensure promotional pricing strategy is aligned with global guidance and executed consistently

 

Collaboration and Communication

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive, high-impact brand activations
  • Partner with national accounts to develop tailored brand plans and launch support strategies
  • Act as brand guardian—leading all marketing training sessions and ensuring consistency in visuals, messaging, and experience across all touchpoints

 

Insights and Optimization

  • Analyze campaign performance and consumer insights to optimize brand plans and guide strategic decision-making
  • Conduct post-mortems and seasonal reviews including ROI, KPIs, and competitive benchmarking
  • Keep informed of marketing trends and consumer behaviour shifts to proactively identify gaps and opportunities

 

Team Leadership and Development

  • Mentor and guide a high-performing team, including an Assistant Trade Brand Manager and Assistant Retail Brand Manager
  • Empower your team to bring bold ideas to life while driving alignment with broader brand and business goals
  • Support Quebec and regional go-to-market strategies ensuring localized relevance and impact

 

Global Connection

 

  • Liaise with U.S. and international marketing counterparts to ensure brand cohesion and share best practices

 

Experience You Bring


  • 4-6 years of experience in brand, trade, or channel marketing
  • Postgraduate degree with a focus in marketing or business
  • Bilingual in English/French is a major asset
  • Experience leading and developing direct reports—bonus if you’ve managed creative and brand functions together
  • Proven success managing omni-channel marketing programs and cross-functional teams
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Charismatic presenter that can deliver impactful messaging
  • A mix of strategic thinking and hands-on execution
  • Passion for branding, retail, and creating best-in-class consumer experiences
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office

Working conditions and requirements

  • Hybrid office work schedule at 60% in downtown Toronto office.
  • Core office hours between 10am and 4pm within your 8 hour day.
  • Live in the Greater Toronto Area
  • Working at events and trade shows may require evenings and weekends as business dictates and with notice.
