Introduction

We’re looking for a dynamic Brand and Marketing Manager to lead our marketing efforts, elevate our brand presence, and connect with our audiences in bold and meaningful ways.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a cutting-edge brand and marketing strategy that supports the overall company objectives.
  • Create synergies in all social media platforms where the company can derive economic value.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders in the development and of brand campaigns to enhance the company’s visibility.
  • Collaborate with the Röhlig overseas counterparts to leverage off the available opportunities and resources.
  • Oversee the production of promotional materials and the analysis of the effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer retention teams to align marketing strategies with customer needs.
  • Analyse campaign performance and consumer insights to optimize future marketing efforts.
  • Develop and execute brand marketing strategies to enhance brand recognition and customer loyalty.
  • Conduct market research to gain insights of consumer behaviour, trends, and competitive landscapes.
  • Analyse current programmes like Enterprise Development and Socio-Economic Development within the BBBEE auspices where branding mileage can be drawn as a customer value proposition.
  • Identify Rohlig-Grindrod’s four Ps and determine how they can be adopted to enhance business growth.
  • Manage the brand marketing budget to maximize return on investment.
  • Keep abreast with marketing trends and technologies to keep the brand at the forefront of industry developments.

Experience

  • Strategic thinker who thrives on creativity.
  • Self-starter who exudes confidence in setting up a portfolio from scratch and operationalise it.
  • Strong inclination on stakeholder engagement.
  • At least 10 years in a marketing and branding environment of which 5 must have been served in a senior marketing/branding management role.
  • Ability to navigate the digital world through the utilisation of digital marketing tools and platforms, such as social media, content management systems, and analytics software.

Qualification

  • Grade 12 Certificate - Maths and English HG
  • Post graduate degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field at NQF level 8 (honours).
  • Business related programme advantageous
