The Opportunity
We’re looking for an Assistant Director of Brand Creative who sees brand as a living system—and knows how to shape it with clarity, craft, and conviction. Combining strategic vision with hands-on creativity, this role operates at the dynamic intersection of art direction, design, and brand storytelling. You'll be empowered to create innovative, expressive content that resonate deeply across digital, print, and experiential touchpoints.

With a rich background in creative agencies or entrepreneurial freelance roles, you excel at guiding teams and independently producing outstanding visual content. What You'll Do
Creative Direction & Execution
- Concept and implement creative initiatives across brand campaigns, product launches, digital, social, internal storytelling, and brand-aligned experiences
- Guide the development and refinement of creative briefs and ensure strategic alignment from concept through delivery.
- Art direct and produce brand photography and video content
- Review UX/UI across digital experience and provide strategic recommendations across the digital guest journey
- Provide feedback and guidance to internal teams and external partners—including freelance video editors, photographers, copywriters, and stylists—to ensure elevated and cohesive execution.
- Audit brand visual guidelines, templates, assets, and provide direction to elevate and refine
- Oversee strategic copywriting direction, brand storytelling, and scripting to ensure cohesive and compelling messaging.
Design & Production
- Create and refine brand assets, presentations, and campaign materials using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and Figma.
- Jump into design software to make edits or build layouts from scratch; this is not a 'hands-off' role. Create mockups, templates, and modular design systems that live within Canva, brand folder, or other platforms
- Contribute to moodboards, visual systems, microsites, and digital storytelling content.
- Support UI/UX projects by applying design fundamentals and collaborating with teams to elevate the digital brand experience and visual identity
- Build out micro-identities for brand sub-programs and content franchises, ensuring visual consistency across platforms.
Brand Development & Visual Storytelling
- Partner with cross-functional teams to evolve and maintain distinct brand identities across all touchpoints.
- Translate brand strategies into immersive, multi-channel creative reflecting our values and aesthetic standards.
- Develop packaging, merchandising, and collateral connecting physical guest touchpoints with broader brand narratives.
- Create concept moodboards and contribute to brand playbooks to codify creative approaches.
Design, Develop & Execute Brand Creative
- Translate strategy into expressive platforms across design, messaging, and storytelling.
- Develop logos and visual guidelines.
- Design and manage all brand and corporate collateral and creative.
- Own creative assets for signage, amenities, event materials, and guest-facing communications.
Creative Production & Content Creation
- Drive lifestyle photo and video shoots.
- Drive development and execution of brand videos.
- Create and manage property and home office collateral, creative needs, and in-room communications.
- Partner closely with ESG teams to embed environmental and social impact into brand narratives and assets.
- Create brand decks, training decks, playbooks and other materials to execute the brand strategy
- Create pitch decks, sizzle reels, and brand sell-in collateral for growth and pipeline expansion.
- Create and manage development team tools including presentations and videos.
- Define the look, feel, and messaging of pop-ups, conferences, live activations, and immersive brand experiences.
- Lead strategy, creative direction, and execution of global and regional advertising campaigns across digital, print, OOH, and new media.
- Ensure campaign storytelling is emotionally resonant, brand-aligned, and performance-aware.
Team Collaboration & Culture
- Work closely with the broader Creative and Marketing teams to execute multidisciplinary projects clearly and cohesively.
- Manage priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment, remaining proactive and solutions-oriented.

Who You Are
You're more than a creative—you're a storyteller, maker, and collaborator deeply invested in thoughtful design and meaningful experiences. You blend talent with heart and understand that great creative is equal parts vision and execution.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has 5+ years of hands-on experience in brand creative, art direction, or design.
- Possesses a versatile, strategic portfolio showcasing branding, digital design, campaign work, and content creation.
- Is proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Canva, capable of independently delivering polished creative assets.
- Has experience directing photo or video shoots, collaborating effectively with production teams.
- Understands the dynamics of video and motion to create engaging content.
- Has foundational UX/UI skills for digital storytelling and design.
- Exhibits entrepreneurial initiative, proactive curiosity, and self-driven execution.
- Thrives both collaboratively and independently.
