Who we are

The NS Raghavan Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning (NSRCEL) is IIM Bangalore’s startup hub and incubation centre. The centre is structured as a section-8 not-for-profit entity.

NSRCEL’s mission is to support ventures in the start-up ecosystem that demonstrate potential to create significant economic and societal impact. This financial year alone NSRCEL has engaged with 1106 ventures through 13 unique program tracks across 82 towns in the country.

NSRCEL is supported by Department of Science and Technology and Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. NSRCEL has partners with corporates like Alstom, Capgemini, Goldman Sachs, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Maruti Suzuki, Pernod Ricard India Foundation and SBI Foundation, among others to support idea stage and early-revenue stage entrepreneurs and startups in focussed themes of climate-tech, women entrepreneurship, and social impact.

 

What you will be doing

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead NSRCEL's Corporate Brand and Strategic Initiatives. This role is critical in shaping the public perception of NSRCEL and aligning its brand narrative with institutional goals. You will drive key branding campaigns, oversee high-impact strategic initiatives, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen our market positioning.  

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Brand Strategy & Development: Develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies to elevate NSRCEL’s visibility and reputation across corporate and entrepreneurial ecosystems.  
  • Strategic Partnerships: Identify and manage high-impact partnerships with corporates, ecosystem enablers, and government bodies that align with NSRCEL’s vision. 
  • Campaign Oversight: Lead the development and execution of cross-channel brand campaigns that resonate with entrepreneurs, alumni, partners, and stakeholders.  
  • Narrative & Positioning: Craft compelling narratives that extend beyond Program Marketing for thought leadership, public engagements, and institutional reports.  
  • Team Leadership: Mentor junior team members, manage cross-functional collaboration, and ensure timely execution of strategic initiatives.  
  • Analytics & Impact: Define success metrics for brand and strategic programs and present actionable insights to leadership.  

 


Requirements


 What you will need to bring to the table

You will ideally need to have the below

  • Education: Master's degree in communications, Business, or related fields. 
  • Experience: 6–8 years in corporate communications, brand strategy, or strategic initiatives; experience in an entrepreneurial environment is a plus. Having a network in the ecosystem is preferred. 
  • Skills: Strong storytelling, stakeholder management, campaign design, strategic thinking, and people management skills. 
  • ​Tools: Familiarity with analytics platforms for brand monitoring and social listening
