We are seeking an organised and goal-oriented Advertising and Brand Specialist with strong presentation and communication skills to implement and maintain brand policies and strategies.
You will manage the planning and execution of approved advertising initiatives as well as ad hoc campaign strategies, supporting the company’s business divisions through campaigns that meet defined objectives.


Requirements
  • Marketing and Sales Diploma (or equivalent qualification).
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in advertising, branding, or marketing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in print, radio, TV, and below-the-line production.
  • Strong understanding of digital and social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the activities required for the formulation of the organisation’s brand strategy and contribute to implementation plans.
  • Manage the successful execution of approved advertising activities that underpin the brand and advertising strategy.
  • Guide internal and external stakeholders to ensure activities support overall brand and advertising objectives.
  • Contribute to the department’s operational work plan.
  • Coordinate media placements (chase lists, tear-sheets, etc.).
  • Present departmental accounts monthly and maintain accurate records of invoices and transactions.
  • Oversee budget tracking and ensure spend-to-date figures are aligned with finance.
  • Manage subscriptions for advertising tools such as Shutterstock, Media Manager, Websend, and Ornico.
  • Provide written and oral reports on project development and delivery.
  • Offer advertising advisory and implementation support services to branches, brokers, and internal departments.
  • Assist business units with specifications required to fulfil advertising and marketing tender requirements.
  • Coordinate design activities to ensure stakeholder requirements are met.
