The Medical Group Management Association (MGMA is looking for a Brand Manager to join our Denver/hybrid team.

The Brand Manager is responsible for developing brand strategies, executing marketing campaigns, and ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints. This role involves overseeing the creative team, managing social media strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align brand initiatives with business goals. The Brand Manager will also track performance metrics and conduct market research to inform brand positioning and messaging.

Requirements

 Essential Functions

  • Create and update brand strategies, guidelines, and vision to align with business goals and build positive brand equity.
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns across various channels to increase brand awareness, drive website traffic, and increase sales.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints, including marketing, web, product, events, and more.
  • Manage the social media team to drive strategic growth that builds brand affinity and reach.
  • Oversee the creative team to ensure visual consistency, quality, and strategic direction.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and brand strategies, attributing performance to revenue where possible.
  • Collaborate with product, sales, events, and other cross-functional teams to ensure brand alignment across the organization.
  • Understand target audiences, competitor strategies, and market trends to inform brand positioning and messaging.
  • Ability to consistently promote, support, work, and act in a manner in support of MGMA’s mission, vision, and values.
  • Other duties as required and necessary to ensure the success of the organization.

Supervisory duties

Direct supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work, including goal setting, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints, and resolving problems. 

Knowledge, skills, and abilities

  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and tactics. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey brand messages. Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed marketing decisions.
  • Strong understanding of branding and design principles with a particular 'eye' for design.
  • Ability to manage social media channels and create the associated content with a track record of account growth.
  • Proven track record of generating and executing creative and innovative marketing campaigns and brand initiatives.
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams while collaborating effectively across departments.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously.

Education

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field is required.

Experience

  • Five (5) or more years of experience in brand management or marketing is required. 
  • Two (2) years of experience managing and developing staff is preferred.

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year for year basis.

Additional Requirements/Licenses/Certifications

  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.

This is a largely sedentary role, so employee must be able to remain in a sedentary position while focusing for extended periods of time throughout the workday. Position also requires occasional movement inside the office to access file cabinets, printers, etc. While performing the duties of this job, employee is regularly required to successfully navigate scenarios requiring the following operational abilities: 

  • Ability to operate PC/keyboard and other office productivity equipment 
  • Ability to position self to traverse/navigate around typical office setting 
  • Ability pull/push, lift, open/close, grasp/manipulate, transport up to 10 lbs.
