Job Summary:
The Brand Activation Manager reports directly to the AVP of Brand Activation & Events. The Manager assists the AVP with the execution and delivery of the department's strategic plans and events. This position oversees the day-to-day brand activation activities of all sports and talent partnerships within the Wellstar portfolio. Responsible for activation strategy across local partnerships, the primary focus is to ensure asset strategy and activation plans are consistent with supporting brand strategies and how our partnerships can drive brand awareness. In addition, this role will have insights into emerging opportunities and platforms for brand consideration and conversion. They will spearhead cross-functional teams to manage and measure integrated activation plans to drive key brand results.
Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
Responsibilities:
*Manage partnerships, contractual obligations, and total budget for sponsorships.
*Work closely with Wellstar leadership to develop a local sponsorship strategy consistent with brand strategies.
*Implement the strategy, creative development, and execution of sponsorship activations, bringing assets to life for consumers in new, innovative ways.
*Translate consumer insights and research into marketing strategies and brand activation plans within the sponsorship space.
*Directly and independently interact with partners to coordinate all elements of brand activation. This will include traditional and non-traditional content, signage, events, social media, and talent coordination.
*Inform, support, and communicate with stakeholders across the Wellstar Health System, including agency partners, teams, sponsor partners, and internal teams regarding sponsorship activation.
*Complete post-program analysis; Own KPI monitoring and tracking by providing reports and progress recaps.
*Enter and manage event calendar for event activations and track inventory consumed at each event.
Human Resource Management
* Schedule and oversee staff needed for event activation.
* Train staff in branding standards and event activation procedures and processes.
* Provide feedback to AVP regarding staff performance.
* Act as on-site leader as assigned for events and programs.
Financial Management
* Ensure all events are within budget.
* Track overall expenses for each event.
* Assist in the development of the annual operating budget.
Regulatory and Compliance Management
* Follow established department and system policies and procedures when performing duties.
* Maintain branding standards and consistency in delivering on the brand promise.
* Maintain confidentiality.
Performs other duties as assigned

Required Minimum Education:
Bachelor's Degree In business, hospitality, marketing, public relations, or communications Required
Master's Degree In business, hospitality, marketing, public relations, or communications Preferred
Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s):
All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.
Additional License(s) and Certification(s):
Required Minimum Experience:
Minimum 5 years Five to seven years of leadership experience in marketing or PR, managing sports and talent partnerships for a large, multi-location organization. Required

Must have exceptional detail-oriented, organizational, time management, project management and communication skills.
Must possess ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude and work independently in a high pressure and fast-paced work environment.
Ability to effectively negotiate, solve problems, think creatively, make decisions, and act within high profile situations.
Must have excellent written verbal, and presentation skills.
Must have strong customer service and interpersonal skills including experience building and maintaining relationships with a diverse network of individuals and organizations.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and project management tools.
Ability to manage and supervise staff in geographically dispersed and remote teams.
